V – HSLA is Vanadium - High Strength Low Alloyed Steel (0.03 % – 0.08 % V).  Vanadium is characterized by fine grains ferrite and pearlite structure, high yield and tensile strength, good  ductility and impact (toughness) properties, improved strain aging. It is a strong carbide and nitride former. These elements form very fine particles which precipitate during transformation process. The particles are located in the interface between the decomposed austenite and newly formed ferrite.

• Homogenous microstructure (fig.1) & hardness at any point across the bar (200 VHN), even if on the high temperature (fig.2)
• Better ductility and toughness properties  that shows long plastic period at monotonic loading (blue curve on fig.3)
